Travel Walji’s (Government License No. 3) was established in 1965 with its first office in Rawalpindi opening its door as a travel and ticketing company. Since its inception as an IATA approved agency, Walji’s has made tremendous contribution in the field of travel and tourism in Pakistan. The small office of a travel agency has now turned into a diversified travel organization having over 100 professionally sound and committed staff, a fleet of above 200 vehicles and branch offices operating in 5 cities throughout the country. In recognition of Walji’s outstanding contribution to tourism, the Prime Minister of Pakistan awarded Walji’s a merit trophy for tourism and the President of Pakistan awarded Walji’s late Chairperson, Mrs. Shirin Walji, with the Sitara-i-Imtiaz in recognition of services to tourism.
